Hello Impeesa District Scouters.

Impeesa District has registered to march in the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 15

If your unit is interested in joining the District Group, please notify Mike Johann via the webmaster@impeesadistrict.org email with your Unit Number/Type, Unit Contact Name and number of people excepted in your group (Adults + Scouts as separate counts). No Scout count too small.

Note:  New TIME  New LOCATION

Parade Date: Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 10:00AM

Your group is confirmed to participate in the 2014 Raleigh St. Patrick’s Day parade. You will need to be at the assembly area and check-in at 8:00 AM. The assembly area and check-in will be at the corner of Wilmington and Peace Streets in downtown Raleigh. Parking of non-parade vehicles is not permitted in the Assembly Area.  Parking for transportation vehicles or floats to disassemble at the end of the parade is available at the lot at Lenoir and McDowell Streets.

Please have one member of your group check-in. Your group will be provided with a numbered place in the line-up and directed where to go.

No throwing of candy, trinkets or anything else is allowed, per your waiver agreement. You may have marchers hand items directly to the crowd as the parade moves along.

Please bring your unit banner, and scouts should be in their Class A uniforms.
I am asking the council to provide items to promote Scouting as handouts per parade policy.

Open to all Unit types - Packs, Troops, Crews, etc.

Thanks,

Mike Johann
Impeesa District
