U.S. Angling, The Boy Scouts of America, Cabela’s, and Holly Springs Parks at Bass Lake are excited to present a unique fishing event. U.S. Angling is home to America’s National fishing teams including: Match fishing, Fly fishing, Ice fishing, Carp fishing, Surf fishing and others. This clinic format will be an introduction to the bank fishing sport known as Match fishing. Match fishing is the most popular sport fishing format in the world. 35 - 40 nations participate annually in the World Championships. U.S. Angling Pro Staff will be teaching, demonstrating, and coaching the youth anglers at this event as they learn about fishing tactics used by the world’s best anglers. We will also hold a brief tournament that will allow the participants to utilize their new fishing skills. The format will be very informative, exciting, and interactive. U.S. Angling will provide the necessary angling equipment, and coaches (U.S. Angling Pro Staff). We just need youth anglers to attend and catch lots of fish!

The event will be held at Bass Lake Park located at 900 Bass Lake Rd in Holly Springs. Our event will run Saturday October 17th and Sunday October 18th. There are large numbers of smaller fish (Bream & Shiners) and good numbers of catfish which makes this venue excellent for this event. Every participant should expect to catch 10 fish or more!
